As a fan of the first movie, I strongly believe that a sequel to The Legend of Extraordinary Gentlemen is necessary. This iconic film brought together some of literature’s most beloved characters and created an action-packed, thrilling adventure that left audiences wanting more.
Firstly, there are still so many untold stories and unexplored characters within the world of The League. The first movie only scratched the surface of what these extraordinary gentlemen (and women) are capable of. With such a diverse and intriguing cast, a sequel would allow for further character development and deeper exploration of their powers and personalities.
Furthermore, the ending of the first movie left room for continuation. The League was just beginning to come together as a team when they were faced with their biggest challenge yet. A sequel could pick up right where we left off and show us how these characters grow and evolve as they face new threats.
